Dr. Alessandro Novello Wins Hans-Eggenberger-Award 2024
Our Post-Doc Dr. Alessandro Novello won the Hans-Eggenberger-Award 2024 for the outstanding results of his PhD research on record power density fully integrated power management circuits
Dr. Alessandro Novello has been awarded the prestigious Hans-Eggenberger-Award for his dissertation, "Analysis and Design of Fully Integrated DC-DC Converters Based on Electromagnetically Coupled Class-D LC Oscillators", completed at our Institute of Integrated Systems (IIS) under the supervision of Prof. Taekwang Jang.
The award also supports Dr. Novello's innovative project proposal on next-generation energy-efficient and highly dynamic SATCOM systems, with funding of up to CHF 100,000.
This recognition highlights Dr. Novello's significant contributions to electronic engineering and his potential to shape future energy-efficient technologies. Congratulations !
The Hans-Eggenberger-Award is presented annually to outstanding young scientists. The aim is to promote young researchers, preferably but not exclusively in the field of interdisciplinary applications of electronics and/or electrical power engineering.
